Ted Pike, USCG Licensed Captain
With over 40 years experience as a sailor, racing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Australia, and across oceans, and with a 500-ton US Coast Guard License, Ted exudes an on-the-water confidence and ability that sets his passengers and crew immediately at ease. A wooden boat builder by trade, his knowledge of boats, from dinghys to superyachts contributes to fascinating stories of people, places and waterways.
Kate Pike
With over 20 years sailing the west coast and Puget Sound, Kathie is a Marine Naturalist who will enhance her guests knowledge of the extensive wildlife found in the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, she prepares and serves our gourmet refreshments and sees to the comfort of passengers (and remembers to laugh appropriatley at the Skipper's tall tales!) Behind the scenes, she manages the operations of Brisa Charters (which some of you will recognize as "doing everything") and, in general, loves the job she's chosen.
